Project Big Rideau

Project Big Rideau is a large-scale outdoor living build designed for both functionality and impact — an expansive 1,800 sq. ft. deck built to handle heavy use while maintaining a clean, high-end finish.

The main 20 × 65 ft living area features TimberTech Azek Vintage PVC decking in multiple board widths, creating subtle texture and visual contrast across the massive surface. A Deckorators ALX railing system frames the perimeter, complete with a matching PVC drink rail top for convenience and continuity in design.

Accessibility and flow were key considerations — the space includes four custom stair sets, a ramp, and a catwalk leading to a gazebo, ensuring seamless movement throughout the structure. Every step and railing is accented with In-Lite outdoor lighting, integrated into stair risers and posts to create a striking nighttime atmosphere that enhances both safety and style.
